Thu 1/21: Many new gigs announced Head on over to the shows section to see the newest gig dates booked for April, including two new acoustic "unplugged" full band shows at Boru's in Waterbury. Thu 1/14: Drift asked to perform in "Rock (Your) Face Off" Competition at Up Or On The Rocks in Hartford, CT, sponsored by 106.9 WCCC! Only four months after becoming finalists in the Mohegan Sun "Sizzlin' Summer Showdown," Drift has been asked to perform in another competition, this time a rockin' one in Hartford, CT. Gotta tell you, we are really looking forward to this one... and we guarantee another huge suprise at some point, just like at the Sizzler. We're booked for the first round date of April 2nd. More info as the date draws nearer. Tue 1/12: March 12th announced at Mad Murphy's in Middletown, CT The band invades Mad Murphy's in Middletown, CT, for the first time. You can hear all about Mad Murphy's on WCCC's "What the hell is going on?" report... they always run cheap drink specials. We'll keep you posted on the specials for the 12th as the date draws nearer. Lets show Middletown how we do, eh? |

Fri 1/29: Elmer's Place - New Britain, CT Back at the infamous Elmer's Place for the first Friday of the spring semester. Come on out and kick the new semester off on the right foot. As always, no cover to have a good time at Elmer's. $3 Bottles / $3.50 Well drinks. Sat 2/12: Boru's (Acoustic Show) - Waterbury, CT Time for another full-band acoustic set of Drift Unplugged at Boru's. We pick up at 9PM right as happy hour leaves off. One of our favorite spots when we aren't gigging out, right in our hometown of Waterbury. Fri 2/19: Elmer's Place - New Britain, CT Back again at Elmer's for the second gig of the semester. No cover! Sat 3/6: The Zen Bar - Plainville, CT Back to the Zen at their new location in Plainville. Great food, great drinks, strong local turnout all week. Drink special: $6 orange, grape, and cherry bombs. If you're like Joe and don't know what the heck a cherry bomb is, its a flavored vodka&redbull in shot form. If that doesn't get you movin'... Fri 3/12: Mad Murphy's - Middletown, CT First time to hit the stage at this establishment in the heart of Central CT. Drink specials TBA. Make sure you get out there and get extra rowdy... we've got a reputation to maintain! |
